General Tools
For questions about any of the tools mentioned below, please contact Student Leadership and Engagement at sle@usfca.edu.
Event Management System (EMS)
Student organizations have equal access to reserve on-campus space on a first-come, first-serve basis through EMS. EMS access is granted to select individuals from each student organization at Student Leadership and Engagement's discretion. The EMS system is managed by Events Management and Guest Services (EMGS). Student organizations may only reserve rooms for their events and meetings. Reserving spaces for personal use, non-recognized student group use, external entities, etc. without proper approval may result in a revocation of access for the entire student organization.
CliftonStrengths (Leadership/Professional Development)
Engage your talents and apply your collective strengths! Student Organizations have the opportunity to request a tailored CliftonStrengths workshop for their executive officers or smaller committees that work closely together to achieve a common goal. Workshops are 2 hours in length and will be scheduled to accommodate student organization needs. SLE will offer these workshops on a first-come, first-serve basis with a limited number of workshops given each year. All materials will be supplied to the organization at no cost.
Workshop includes the following:
- CliftonStrengths Assessment Codes (to be completed by the team at least 1 week prior to the workshop date/time)
- Overview of CliftonStrengths as a leadership development tool
- Team Talent Maps to discuss and better understand group dynamics
- Strategies for Strengths post-workshop development
- Optional: ongoing leadership coaching sessions for individuals and/or the full team
More information on CliftonStrengths can be found on the main SLE website.
Note: Workshops must be requested at least 4 weeks prior to the desired workshop date and time. Workshops will not be offered on weekends.
