First-Year Student Orientation Schedule

Student Orientation has its own schedule, separate from the Family Orientation. Your schedule includes both mandatory and optional events designed to help you make new friends, build community, and get to know USF. While your family is welcome to attend Family Orientation, their schedule is different and entirely optional - they can choose the events and activities that best fit their needs and interests.

Immunization Clinic 9 AM - 2 PM University Center, Room 402 & 403Drop in anytime during the clinic for required immunizations, including hepatitis B and MMR vaccines, or a tuberculosis (TB) test. Students receiving a TB test must return to the Student Health Clinic within 48–72 hours to have the test read. Health Promotion Services (HPS) staff will also be available to answer questions about immunization requirements and the USF student health insurance plan. Students enrolled in the USF health insurance plan may also pick up a copy of their insurance card.

Lands End Hike10 AM - 12:30 PMMeet at Privett Plaza

 Join us for a scenic walk along San Francisco’s coastline. The Lands End Trail is approximately 1.7 miles one way and takes about one hour to complete. The trail winds around rocky cliffs above the ocean, passes through shaded groves of cypress and eucalyptus, and opens to breathtaking views of the shoreline, Marin Headlands, and Golden Gate Bridge. RSVP here.
