Graduate Student Senate Executive Board

Meet the 2021-22 GSS Executive Board

There are five executive officers that make up the executive board of the Graduate Student Senate (GSS). The executive board is primarily responsible for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of all GSS initiatives, programs, and services.

Attwal has worked in financial services in acquisition. Her background includes product management, risk controls, audits, demand/change management, and program management.

Richard Z. Alvia

Alvia's ministry is in Catholic education. Alvia served as a Theology teacher for 11 years and recently as Superintendent of Catholic Education for the Archdiocese of Agana in Guam. Alvia enjoys cooking, research, traveling, cycling, and learning new spirituality from around the world. Alvia's dissertation focuses on spiritual leadership in crisis.

Moritz Fath

Moritz worked over three years as a Biochemical Process Engineer in the life science industry in Switzerland. He is interested in all kinds of technology to improve existing processes. He played soccer before he started walking. He loves American football (Go Pack Go!) and enjoys hiking in his free time, sooner or later with a dog by his side. His long term goal is to stay in the United States after graduation and pursue a career as a Project Manager, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Jennifer is currently a Customer Service Agent for Alaska Airlines with a love for traveling. She has spent a large amount of her life dancing Hula and spent 9 years living on the beautiful island of O'ahu. As a first-generation student, she decided to return to school to get a Masters degree and pursue a career in Education. Her goal is to one day become an academic advisor and help students pursue their education, life goals, and create their own success.

Kevin T. Ramos

Kevin grew up in Los Angeles, exploring new spaces and questioning issues in society at-large. He was born to a large family of first-generation Mexican-Americans with traditional Catholic roots, which has instilled in him the virtue of integrity and the value of advocacy. His family has always supported his aspirations for higher education and public service. He tries to recreate the feeling of security he receives from his family with each new group he becomes a part of. It is Kevin's mission to help others build strong cohesive communities that support our growth.
