Nutritional wellness includes eating a balanced diet to promote overall health and wellbeing. A wide variety of food provides our bodies with the energy, protein, essential fats, vitamins, and minerals to live, grow, and function properly. As recommended by the USDA, healthy eating includes drinking enough water, eating healthy fats, protein, and whole grains, and minimizing one’s intake of processed foods, unhealthy fats, and alcohol.
