Microsoft has ended the Office 365 Pro Plus subscriptions for Faculty, Staff and Students and now offers the free online basic versions of Word, Powerpoint and Excel through the Microsoft 365 Free Apps account and then the student Microsoft 365 Personal plan for those who need to install Microsoft Office on their home computers. For faculty and staff, you will need to purchase the standard Office 365 Personal subscription. If you pay the subscription annually ($99.99), the price drops from $9.99 to $8.33/month.
