Elements of a Program Homepage
Subtitle
Start the subtitle with an active verb. Invite the reader to do something. Remember that the reader is 17 years old and is trying to learn what your program offers.
Introduction
Speak to the reader about the reader. Speak in second person. Tell your reader what your reader will DO at USF. Hint at Jesuit values (make a difference or change the world or improve the world). Mention specific careers and/or fields in which a graduate might work.
Image + Text
In this headline and paragraph, make the case for your program. For the headline, start with an active verb. And then, in the paragraph beneath this headline, make clear what your reader will DO in this program. Be specific.
Quote + Image
Place here a testimonial quote and a high-quality image (ideally over 1500 x 1808 pixels) from a current student or alumnus. Ideally, the quote conveys your program's distinction. If you don’t have a quote handy, please send the Current Student Questionnaire and the Alumni Questionnaire to your students and alumni. Responses will go directly to Web Services, so you don’t have to worry about them.
Highlights Carousel
In the green box on the left, pitch your program to the reader. Introduce the colored boxes to the right of the green box. If you wish, feel free to adopt this introduction as your own: "USF __[name of program]___________ offers you energy, experiences, and opportunities that you won't find anywhere else." If you adopt this sentence as your own, please talk about energy, experiences, and opportunities in the colored boxes to the right of this green box.
In the colored boxes to the right of the green introduction box, support the points that you made in the green box. Start each headline with a verb such as "learn" or "land" or "meet." And keep in mind your reader's desires for college: to join a community, to make friends, to have fun, to meet teachers who care, to learn by doing, to explore the city, to land internships, and to work with mentors who prepare / equip / inspire students to land a job that they like and that changes the world for the better. Feel free to use these headlines, if you wish.

Answer the question. Be specific. Tell students which roles they might fill and/or fields they might pursue with this degree.
