Welcome to the AI Certification Program

Ready to build your AI skills at your own pace? This self-paced AI Certification Program is designed for faculty and staff who want to develop practical, responsible, and confident ways to use AI in their work. The program includes five online classes, all available through Canvas, so you can learn when and where it works best for you. To earn your certificate, complete all five classes and a short hands-on project that gives you an opportunity to apply what you’ve learned. By the end of the program, you’ll have both foundational AI knowledge and practical experience you can bring back to your teaching, work, and everyday tasks.

  2. Using AI Safely and Securely workshop
  3. Introduction to Google Gemini workshop
  4. Introduction to Gemini Notebook workshop
  5. AI and Assessment workshop
  6. Final project (approximately 1 hour)
