If you are a transfer student, you may have taken some Psychology courses at your previous institution. To determine whether the Psychology course you took elsewhere will substitute for a USF Psychology course, you will need to submit a Substitution Request form.
To submit your course for review, you must:
- Fill out the Substitution Request form
- Attach the course syllabus (Please note that course descriptions are not sufficient and will not be reviewed. If you do not have the syllabus, contact the psychology department from your previous institution and they should be able to provide the syllabus.)
- Submit both documents to the Department of Psychology front desk (KA G65).
A faculty reviewer will assess the contents of the syllabus and determine if the course is equivalent. A follow-up email will be sent to you once your course has been reviewed.
