The Great American Smokeout
Are you ready to take a stand against smoking and promote a healthier campus environment? The Great American Smokeout is the perfect opportunity! Hosted annually by the American Cancer Society on the third Thursday of November, this event encourages smokers to quit and promotes the benefits of a smoke-free life.
Join us on November 21, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at UC 1st Floor and celebrate a tobacco-free life at our annual event.
What to Expect
- Participate in a campus-wide cigarette butt cleanup. Signup now!
- Get a lung assessment and blood pressure check from School of Nursing and Health Professions.
- Free quit cold turkey sandwiches available for those who want to quit smoking or lead a tobacco-free life
