ASUSF President
Kiannah-Nicole Karani (she/her)

Officer Bio:
Kiannah-Nicole is a Junior majoring in Environmental Science currently exploring the engineering department. She considers herself a thrill seeker at heart and is always willing to try something new. Kiannah-Nicole loves exploring the outdoors, and will hike anywhere there's a beautiful view. Her favorite season is Autumn, and she enjoys reading, baking, and integrating herself into diverse communities. Kiannah-Nicole has a strong passion for equity and empowerment, and she intends to be more proactive in her commitment to addressing the diverse student population's needs and campus infrastructure issues.

Officer Bio:
Metzli is a passionate student that is here to voice concerns of the student body to administration. She is a third year Critical Diversity Studies Major which has helped gear her passions towards policy making on this campus. She is prepared for this year and is ready to serve the student body in any way they need her. Throughout her experience on Senate as the previous At-Large Latine Student Representative, she was able to represent a beautiful community on this campus, but is ready to expand to the entire student body. She is excited to help Senate internally, and helping Senators pursue their advocacy goals.

Nadine Tabucao (she/her)

Officer Bio:
Nadine was born and raised in the Bay Area and is entering her third term on ASUSF Senate's executive team. Her experiences in diversity and success-driven programs like A Better Chance and Muscat Scholars has strengthened her commitment to promoting equity in her work. In her role, she strives to foster community among USF through connecting various groups and relationship-building. In her last term as VP of Finance, Nadine led a successful campaign that increased funding sources by 25%, ensuring a vibrant and engaging student life. Looking ahead, she aims to secure a career in Venture Capital or Private Equity where she can leverage the field to financially support women-founded companies to foster equitable change on a broader scale.

Officer Bio:
Mar’s mission is to create an open and transparent channel of communication that ensures that the student body's concerns and ideas are heard and acted upon. Mar believes that small things can lead to more significant changes, and schoolwide problems can lead to changes that will last a lifetime. Mar cannot promise that he can wave a magic fan and everything will be better, but he can promise that he will be there to listen, see, and be there for his constituents. And forever and always, he will be a fan of the people.

Aderet Parrino (they/he)

Officer Bio:
Aderet has been involved in grassroots organizing for over 7 years in areas like climate justice, LGBTQ+ student's rights, Free Palestine organizing, and working to keep our unhoused neighbors safe and our low-income neighbors housed. They are passionate about what it means to put radical love into action and to practice Karuna, a Sanskrit word which takes sympathy a step further into action. He finds great joy and beauty in working alongside others to reimagine a more just world and take concrete steps to get there. Their approach to leadership is welcoming, approachable, and helpful. He aims to create a safe and brave space in which he guides but does not control. Your concerns as students and senators are the priority for them, and they will do what it takes to make the changes you want to see, inviting you in to be a comrade in change making.

Student Government Assistant
Natalie Ryu (she/her)
Major: Politics
Minor: Legal Studies and Asian American Pacific Studies (APAS)

Officer Bio:
Natalie is a second-year Politics major with career aspirations in the legal field focusing on International Relations and Foreign Diplomacy. She previously served as the At-Large AAPI Student Representative and currently works at the AAPI Center where she builds connections between students, staff, and alumni. Outside of Senate she is a First-year Orientation Leader and a member of the Game Day Experience team. In her free time you can find her wandering around the city taking pictures with her digicam, finding the best hidden food gems, and going to as many concerts and Giants games as possible. She’s excited to work with this amazing team of senators to address the comprehensive needs of our student body.

Isabelle Sholes (she/her)

Officer Bio:
Isabelle joined ASUSF to become more involved with the student body on campus. She has also served as VP of Administration for her sorority, Delta Zeta, and is President during the 2022-2023 school year. Isabelle is also on the USF Finance Committee and a member of the new campus club, the Economic Student Association. Isabelle loves movie nights, knitting, pilates, and going out with friends. Isabelle is studying economics with a concentration in development and a minor in environmental studies and hopes to combine the two fields to find new solutions to our climate crisis.
