Please be aware that an automatic cleanup process typically runs in the summer. This process deletes all files and directories that have not been updated in the past year. The automated system checks if the top-level user folder has been modified within the last year.
It's important to note that the folder modification date only updates when you add a file or folder to your home directory. If you make changes only to the subfolders within your home directory, the main username folder will not show as updated and may be at risk of deletion.
