Women's Rugby Club

Want to get in on the women's rugby realness you saw at the 2024 Paris Olympics? Join USF Club Women's Rugby! Rugby combines the physicality of American football, the stamina of soccer, and the coordination of basketball to create the ultimate sports challenge. With fifteen or seven players on the field, there’s a position for any and every body type! If you enjoy a full contact sport or are looking to try something new, then USF Women's Rugby is a fantastic place to start.

USF Club Women's Rugby is a competitive club on campus that is a part of the DII West Coast Rugby Conference (WCRC). Our typical season consists of pre-season friendly tournaments,15's practices, and a few 15's games during Fall semester. At the beginning of spring semester, we play the bulk of 15's games as well as WCRC 15's Regionals. Our team then transitions into 7's practices and WCRC 7's Regionals for the latter half of the spring semester. Our WCRC opponents include Sacramento State, Cal Poly Humboldt, Santa Clara University, St. Mary’s College, UC Santa Cruz, UN Reno, Cal Poly SLO, San Jose State University, and CSU Monterey Bay. We may also play Fresno State, Stanford, and Cal in friendly games and/or tournaments.
No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn!
