Air Rifle Club
The USF Air Rifle Club is a recreational club on campus that involves complete control over mind and body, with practiced concentration and precision. The Air Rifle Club focuses on Olympic-style air rifle shooting, which consists of hitting a target from a distance of 10 yards, from three different body positions. The bullseye is 3/4 the size of a printed period! They are proud to compete both locally and internationally through official online events. Interested students are invited to come try this growing sport!

USF Student Testimonials:
“Club Sports means community to me. I was afraid that I wouldn't find a community in college, but joining club sports gave me a built-in support system and friend group. Rifle specifically has felt like an extended family and I wouldn't trade that for anything. I think that the best part about my club is the closeness. Rifle is a naturally individual sport, it's hard to coach, and it's hard to learn on your own. That being said, we all participate together. You're never on the line or competing alone. We also make it a point to have fun get together at least once a semester, which helps us get closer as both people and teammates. We might get frustrated with each other once in a while, but it's worth it to have people that I consider close friends.
If I could give advice to future Club Sports participants I would say…If you're afraid to try something new, that's okay, but you might want to do it anyway. You might meet people you enjoy, do something you love, or any number of great things could come from it. If nothing else, with club sports it's always a learning experience. It really doesn't hurt to try.” - Tesla Lyon [USF Graduate]
